16 Dec Joshua Tongol – Biola University (2009) – Growing Taller Miracle

Location: Biola University (2009)

Biola Asian Student Association

During this event, I offered to pray for people. One person yelled out that they wanted to grow taller. Now, Christians are divided over this kind of miracle.

Here’s my perspective: if it really bothers and effects you negatively…why not pray for it? One person’s problem may not be another person’s problem (e.g., acne). And most of the complaints I heard were from tall people. It’s easy for them to not support this kind of miracle…they are tall. I know many people who have struggled with their height their entire lives. And if you’re secure with it, then that’s fine. But if you’re not, then that’s fine too. What is your desire?

God is a lot nicer than you think.

16 Dec Joshua Tongol – Crippled Walks Miracle

Location: Makati, Philippines

I can’t believe it took me this long to upload this. This miracle was back in 2009 when I arrived here in the Philippines. It was an unforgettable day. I don’t remember one dry eye in the room.

This brother was paralyzed for 6 years by getting shot in the spine. He came to our gathering to receive healing.

We read this to him before we prayed:

In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. (Acts 14:8-10)

You should of seen his face when we read it to him. Tears began to form in his eyes. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of Christ (see Romans 10:17).

Let the Gospel spread.
